Day 7 - Steamboat Springs

With only 1 full day in Steamboat we wanted to try to hit all the favorites.  We got up, had breakfast, and decided to head down to "Little Toots Park" where the kids spent a lot of time when they were little.  It's right next to the river walk by the Yampa so we went down played on the rocks, just like the old days.

Pictures by the musician statues were a must.

There was racing

and swinging

musical instrument

climbing

a very steep slide

and a very scary, very high rock wall to walk across.

After play time at the park we went to the river to mess around.

Had to get 2 pics from the bridge to be able to see everyone around the trees. Then it was off to down town....

Pre-Rodeo pics

Everyone pic, and before you say, "where is Jer?" zoom in across the Yampa, he's there!

Ski lift swings....

Now, for the Main Event of Friday, the Steamboat Pro Rodeo Series.  We used to go to this all the time when my folks lived in Steamboat, it is such a great memory and even more fun to see the kids remembering when they were little.

At the beginning of the rodeo there was a bit of rain, but no worries, it moved off and left us with an amazing rainbow and an unbelievable sunset.  (Going to put the link for the full photo dump at the end)

Good night to Steamboat Springs.
